"Mrs. Chip" is a female cardinal. I call the cardinals Mr. and Mrs. Chip, because of the loud "chipping" noise these birds make. These birds are terribly nervous and it is very hard to get a clear photo of them as they fly away at the smallest of movements. A big ol' gorilla like myself sends them flying off in a state of panic every time!
